Edward's Rover 216i Coupe

Right, it should be fairly obvious from this title that this isn't my car: It belongs to my friend, Edward.

I've only got a few pictures up at the moment, but I'll try and get some more information sorted out as soon as possible. Click on any of the pictures to link to a larger version.

Exterior view of the car. Notice the post-facelift chrome grille, and the optional rear spoiler. A couple of touches you may not spot instantly are the fact that the side repeaters are colour-coded green, rather than just being clear, and the alloy radio aerial. The Rover's interior. The car's a four seater, although the rear seats aren't so comfortable for someone my size. Because it's the coupe, it has the more supportive sports seats front and rear. The steering wheel and gearknob are both aftermarket replacements. Click on the picture for an enlarged version, or for a monstrously huge version click HERE.

Here you can see the Honda-derived 16v powerplant in the engine bay. You can easily see the cone filter induction kit and polished stainless steel intake. Note the heavyweight cabling and fuse for the ICE system. Click on the picture for an enlarged version, or for a monstrously huge version click HERE.

The boot includes a custom-built ICE install, with two 10-inch subwoofers driven by a Sony amplifier. There's an Alpine amp mounted on the right-hand side powering the speakers in the rear shelf. Click on the picture for an enlarged version, or for a monstrously huge version click HERE.
Current Status
